Taffy's super Finnish National Specialty 2016 weekend

Ok, this was one of those weekend's you will never forget. We always attend our National Specialty. Always! It's THE SHOW of the year for me and I just love to watch all those beautiful Whippets (160 this year so pretty big event) and chill out with good friends. Taffy has sort of left the show rings and was shown just for fun. And what did she do! She just came and won the whole thing!!!

And the next day at the unofficial Open Show she was a BIS champion and second best of all the bitches. Never ever going to forget this weekend!!!

Greta is a new FINNISH BEAUTY CHAMPION

It was a cold and rainy weekend but we still attended two shows on the West Coast. I was really excited to show Greta for Mrs Thora Brown from Canada as she was by far the most exciting judge of the summer from our point of view as Greta is more North American in type. But I was soooo surprised when Mr Andrzej Kazmierski from Poland picked Greta to be his Best Bitch and finally BEST OF BREED with her third and final CAC. I was over the moon!

Next day was even more rainy when we went to Rauma. Brother Toffe did not want to show at all but he was liked very much by Mrs Thora Brown and was finally Best Male-4 with res-CAC and a wish to be seen again on a sunny day :D Greta won bitches and went all the way to the BEST OF BREED again and finally GROUP-4 under breed specialist Jarmo Vuorinen. BOS both days was very handsome Play A While Mora Marknad.

My girls Taffy & Greta had a swim-date with bro Toffe and his big brother Nuka. We were celebrating Nuka's birthday at Onnenkoira in Hyvinkää :)

Then we started the beauty contests in Lappeenranta INT 26.3.2016, judge Markku Mähönen

Toffe (in the middle below) won open class with CQ and ended up being Best Male-4 with res-CAC 

Greta was 4th in huge open class and last but not least

Taffy won champion bitches with CQ and ended up being Best Bitch-4 :)

ASLAN - Magtaf Buona Notte Bonaire gained his first title and is also known as EE JCH from now on. Aslan has taken over the coursing fields like a hurricane and he won three LC CAC's. One from each three races he attended.

KIKI - Magtaf Jamaican Portrait was shown few times and she has one res-CAC and two Best Bitch placements. She's also a lure crazy girl and she specializes in oval track racing. Hopefully next year she'll have her first official start!

JENNY-CARLA - Magtaf Kick-'Em-Jenny hasn't been so active on the conformation/coursing front but she's been very active at home and is spoiled and loved by her family.

DONNA - Magtaf Ella Eleuthera has been spoiled by her family. She just might make her show debut next year!

RIO - Magtaf Kingston Kane has been enjoying country side living and gets to play with her sister Jenny-Carla a lot.

TOFFE - Magtaf Flagship Flanagan has gained 3 res-CAC's and one CAC with BOS-placement. He has also been very active lure courser with three LC CAC'S and a silver medalist in Finnish LC championships. He's been placed 6th best male in the Whippet of the Year competition. He is also 3rd best lure courser rookie of the year and 9th out of all 238 lure coursing whippets.

JULIET - Magtaf Red Stripe Ruby has been shown few times but mostly she's been doing some agility with her sheltie sisters!

TAFFY - Sporting Fields Jamaican Me Crazy was supposed to have a year off but she's just so excited when we get ready for a dog show so she was entered too... And she ended up being 9th best bitch in the Whippet of the Year with two CACIB's and BOB- & BOS-placements.

The biggest highlight for me was the BIS-breeder win at the Finnish Whippet Club Specialty with Greta, Toffe, Kiki & Enzo
